Sensel Measurement commercializes and designs a large range of capacitive tilt sensors. An inclinometer allows the conversion of a tilt angle in a proportional electrical signal. The capacitive tilt sensor is fitted with two electrodes integrated in the housing of the sensor. Between them, there is a dielectric liquid which is insensitive to the movements of the sensor.
The so generated capacity fluctuates linearly when the sensor rotates around of its sensitive axe and the furnished signal is proportional to the rotation angle.
Our manufacturing process will let you to create your own custom made sensor adapted to your application. Our housing cases are built up on request, allowing you to calibrate the output signal and the measuring angle according to your need.
